Course Overview
The Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma is a higher‑level qualification designed for learners aiming to progress toward technical roles within the electrotechnical industry. It develops the advanced knowledge, skills, and professional understanding required for industry employment or further specialist training.
Students will need the following equipment: On-Site Guide, BS7671 Wiring Regulations (current edition), scientific calculator.

A level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installation and at least 5 GCSEs at grade 4 including maths and English.
Practical demonstrations and assignments
Practical examinations
Written examinations
Controlled assessments and a synoptic design project
Completing the qualification supports progression into roles such as electrical improver or onward study including the Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services or specialist inspection and testing qualifications.
