Our Careers Programme
Throughout your child's time at college, we are committed to delivering a robust and ever-evolving Careers Program that places our students at the heart of all planning and delivery.
Throughout your child's classes and our careers program we embed the 5C skills - Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Creativity and Company Behaviours – that employers look for in their employers to prepare each student for not only their next steps but developing the transferable skills essential to long-term success in the workplace and wider world.
The Careers Team plays a key role in supporting the college’s broader Personal Development strategy, which focuses on preparing learners to be Career Ready, Work Ready, Opportunity Ready and Life Ready. This is achieved through a wide range of activities, including Specialist 1:1 Guidance, tutorial based Short Interactions, employer encounters and targeted events such as HE Fairs and Potential Pathways weeks. And by using digital tools such as GroFar students are able to track their career journey.
Aligning careers education with personal development priorities, the team ensures that learners are supported holistically – building confidence, resilience, and a clear sense of direction as they progress through their educational journey and beyond.
