No matter your starting point or current level of qualification, we have the route to support and ensure you achieve your goals.
CORE:
Our CORE courses are perfect for anyone not ready to join a Level 2 or 3 programme yet, these courses allow you to study at Entry Level and Level 1 and prepare you to progress onto higher levels. After completing a CORE course you can go onto higher levels including Level 2 courses.
Vocational Level 2 and 3 Courses:
Vocational qualifications allow you to learn by doing and focus on practical skills for specific careers. During a vocational course you will train in real life settings that allow you to build your confidence and be career ready. For this you will need a minimum of four or more GCSEs grades 9-3 including your Maths and English. After completing a Level 2 course you can progress to a Level 3 course or apprenticeship which will then allow you to progress to university, a university level course at HoW College or to employment.
T Levels:
T Levels are two year courses that mix classroom learning with real-world work experience. You'll gain hands-on skills in a range of areas and will spend 45 days a year with an employer on work placement. A T Level is a great route into a great career, apprenticeship or university. To study a T Level you will need a minimum of five GCSEs or above including your Maths and English. T Levels then allow you to progress to university, a university level course at HoW College, an apprenticeship or straight into employment.
Apprenticeships:
Apprenticeships are an excellent way to gain hands-on experience whilst building the skills employers are looking for. As an apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced staff, learning directly from those in the industry whilst also earning a wage. Apprenticeships combine practical training with classroom learning and are offered in a wide range of sectors making them a flexible and rewarding route into employment and further progression.
Apprenticeships allow you to earn a salary, receive standard employee benefits and are a great way to fast track your career. There are four main levels of apprenticeships: intermediate, advanced, higher and degree. This means you can find the right one to suit your abilities, experience and goals.
Higher Education:
Higher Education courses for students 18+ where you will study University level courses, with flexible study options that fit around your life, to smaller classes and more contact time.
We offer courses from Level 4 to Level 7, and entry is is based on having between 60-240 UCAS Points, or in certain courses, other entry requirements would be considered for applicants who are 21 and over.
