Course Overview

These awards give the learner an understanding of the theory and practice involved with the below:

• initial verification and commissioning & periodic inspection, testing and condition reporting

The awards follow BS 7671 and the Industry recognised IET Guidance Note 3 and the Best Practice
Guides from Electrical Safely First.

Course Modules

Course Information

The learners must have completed a level 3 Electrical Installation qualification such as EAL Level 3 Diploma together with a knowledge of the latest wiring regulations BS7671. Learners must have the minimum levels of literacy and numeracy to complete the learning outcomes and assessments.

Assessment for the course is based on two online assessments and two practical tasks in each of the awards(initial verification and commissioning & periodic inspection, testing and condition reporting).

Depending on your previous qualifications you may able to apply for job roles with electrical companies the require particular skills in inspection and testing, or be able sign off your own installation work and provide condition reports.
