Studying Higher Education at HoW College offers many benefits over studying at University. From flexible study options that fit around your life, to smaller classes and more contact time.

Our HE courses offer the same benefits as our further education course. With access to our dedicated careers team, support with our wellbeing team and advice centuries, and a HE engagement officer to offer support with assignment writing, referencing, study skills and disability support.

Heart of Worcestershire College University Centre

The Heart of Worcestershire College University Centre is co-funded by Heart of Worcestershire College and the University of Worcester. The vision is to provide a hub for higher education for those attending HoW College and the local community. This will raise educational aspirations, encouraging increased participation in higher education, particularly by those who may not otherwise have considered it, continuing to raise the profile of Heart of Worcestershire College and University of Worcester in Worcestershire.

The Aims are:

• To increase progression to HE within the college and to the University of Worcester.  
• To further develop additional HE curriculum through partnership and increase student numbers.  
• To provide enrichment for the learners through the delivery of subject-based master classes by UW staff at Heart of Worcestershire College.
• To raise awareness of the courses offered by Heart of Worcestershire College and their links to the University of Worcester.  
• To raise the profile of the University of Worcester in Worcestershire to attract more applications from potential students living in the area.  
• To provide a more visible manifestation of the existing partnership working and educational opportunities that have been developed.
