Course Overview
This qualification is ideal if you have management responsibilities but no formal training and are serious about developing your abilities. It’s particularly suited to practicing team leaders seeking to move up to the next level of management, and managers who need to lead people through organisational change or other pressures.
This qualification involves blended learning, ensuring that delivery is flexible and accommodates the needs of learners and employers. Apart from an online monthly 3-hour teaching session, we will be supporting progression and assessing submitted work through remote platforms.
HoW College work closely with ILM delivering commercial courses and apprenticeships. We have a proven track record of supporting our learners to achieve success n their ILM qualification.
COURSE LENGTH
6 - 8 months, based upon attendance of one taught session per month.
DELIVERY INFORMATION
One taught session per month, culminating in a written assignment for each module. In addition approximately 6 hours per month personal study is required. Support sessions and tutorials will also be available via an online platform.
STAFF EXPERIENCE
This course is delivered by qualified teachers with occupational experience in areas of management and leadership as well as degree level academic and/or professional qualifications.

There are no formal entry requirements, however applicants are required to complete an initial assessment prior to acceptance on to the course.
This course is assignment based.
On successful completion of the ILM Level 3 Certificate in Leadership and Management you can progress to the ILM Level 3 Diploma in Leadership and Management. The diploma requires assessment of work based competency in a team leading role. Other progression opportunities include Level 5 Certificate in Leadership and Management and Level 4 Project Management.
