Course Overview
The Level 1 Diploma in Beauty Therapy introduces learners to the basic skills, knowledge, and professional standards needed for work in the beauty industry. Students develop practical abilities in areas such as basic skincare, makeup application, nail care, and salon hygiene, while also learning how to work safely and professionally with clients. The course includes both practical sessions and theory, helping learners build confidence, communication skills, and an understanding of the beauty sector. This qualification is ideal for those starting their journey into beauty therapy and preparing to progress to Level 2 study.
All essential beauty equipment and products needed for lessons and assessments will be provided within the training salon. However, learners are required to purchase their own uniform and personal beauty kit to support their practical development. The uniform ensures a professional appearance and meets industry standards, while the individual kit allows learners to practise skills independently and maintain good hygiene throughout the course. Full details of the required items, costs, and suppliers will be provided during interviews / induction evenings.
